I was invited to contribute a piece on my experience traveling around China in search of tea for China Heritage Quarterly’s 29th Issue (published by Australian National University) which is focused on Tea and just published!

It is such an honor to be included amongst such an amazing group of experts and scholars who all contributed to this issue completely devoted to tea.

The present issue of China Heritage Quarterly casts its net back in time to bring together material from Chinese and non-Chinese sources related to tea and its rich heritage.

This issue is a treasure trove of valuable knowledge and research on tea in China from a multi-disciplinary perspective (translated ancient texts, republications of old articles, original research pieces from scholars and personal accounts from people immersed in tea in China)–we look forward to pouring over every word and hope you do too!
